Photographs taken by Breitbart News on Sunday demonstrate that, during the protests in Washington D.C. on Saturday, statues near the White House gates were desecrated and the columns of these same gates were vandalized.
Red paint was used to create a semblance of bloody handprints above the phrase “Free Palestine”, which had been scrawled onto the north White House gate close to the West Wing.

They still had not been cleaned by Monday morning, according to ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Mary Bruce.

In Lafayette Park, adjacent to the North Lawn of the White House, protesters vandalized the statue of General Jean Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, Comte de Rochambeau.
During the American Revolution, Rochambeau led French forces in fighting alongside the Continental Army against the British during the siege of York Town.

At the base of the monument, “Free Palestine” was written in blood red paint in cursive, while “Free Gaza” and “Palestine Will Be Free” were etched on higher areas. Below Rochambeau’s name, there was graffiti reading “Fuck Joe Biden”.

Protestors covered a smaller statue adjacent to the Rochambeau Monument with anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian graffiti on all four sides.

Phrases such as “Disrespect Israel,” “Disrespect Biden,” “Death to the USA,” “Discrimination against Transgenders and Homosexuals in Support of Palestine,” “Amerikkka is Inhumane” and “Kos Om Israel” were written on the monument. The phrase “Kos om Israel” translates to “Your mother’s cunt, Israel” in Arabic.

On Saturday, tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Penn Quarter and video evidence showed the Rochambeau Statue being desecrated. As night fell, protesters shook the gates of the White House while displaying Palestinian flags and shouting at Secret Service agents on the other side. Among them was a sticker from CrimethInc, an organization described on its website as “a rebel alliance”, “a banner for anonymous collective action” and “an international network for aspiring revolutionaries”.

They also cheered “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is Great,” and “We don’t want two states, we want ’48.”
