MLB Player Stands Up to Anti-Christian LGBT Overthrow Of Baseball

In recent days, Major League Baseball (MLB) has been in the spotlight due to an upcoming “pride night” that the Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting later this month.

This event is raising concern among many conservative Christians who feel that MLB is turning its back on their values and beliefs by inviting a drag performance group known as “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” to participate in the ‘festivities’.

Washington Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams, a devout Catholic, has spoken out against this event and called for it to be canceled in order to protect religious freedom and prevent any further attacks against Christianity.

“As a devout Catholic, I am deeply troubled by the Dodgers’ decision to re-invite and honor the group ‘The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’ at their Pride Night this year,” Williams’ statement reads.

“…To invite and honor a group that makes a blatant and deeply offensive mockery of my religion, and the religion of over 4 million people in Los Angeles County alone, undermines the values of respect and inclusivity that should be upheld by any organization,” Williams statement went on, before calling on “fellow Catholics to reconsider their support of an organization that allows this type of mockery of its fans to occur.”

The controversy surrounding the Dodgers’ “pride night” began when they initially un-invited the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” from participating, only to quickly reverse their decision after receiving backlash from LGBT groups. The group dresses up as hyper-sexualized caricatures of nuns, priests and even Jesus Christ as part of their performances, which many believe is an attack on Catholicism. Williams released a lengthy statement on his Twitter account expressing his deep distress at attending such an event and encouraging others not to participate as well.

Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers has also spoken out against the event but stopped short of boycotting or issuing a similar statement to Williams’.

Instead, he has instead touted an upcoming LA Dodgers “Christian Faith and Family Day” which some have criticized as simply being a token gesture meant only to appease Christian fans while still catering to anti-Catholicism with events like “pride night”.

Many believe that MLB’s growing partnership with Nike over recent years is partly responsible for this shift towards more radical leftist views within baseball culture.

Nike now holds exclusive rights to supply all uniforms and footwear for MLB players which could be seen by conservatives as a way for Nike – who openly supports progressive causes such as Black Lives Matter – influence baseball culture with its own agenda.

This further fuels fears among traditionalists that MLB may be slowly beginning to accept ideologies alienating them from what was once considered America’s favorite pastime.

  1. Christianity is under attack all across America!!!!! Satan knows he has to turn people away from God before he can seize control of the nation!!!!! Sadly, the catholic and methodist denominations, along with some independent churches, have bowed to the liberal agenda to deflect criticism!!!!! major league baseball, like so many other multi-billion dollar businesses have also caved, knowing fans will still buy their over-priced tickets, something I will not ever do!!!!! I won’t even watch baseball on tv and I used to be an avid fan!!!!! I refuse to watch the nfl for the same reason and have never watched the nba because I don’t like basketball and the game is a farce!!!!! 7 foot players shoot at a basket the same height as my granddaughter did as a 4th grader!!!!!

  2. Our family stands with Trevor and all Christians. We work for God, not against him. This is nothing but evil, and we don’t support it and never will.

  3. Why does the 99% of the moral and sane population, that doesn’t believe in nor participate in these Satin based displays of debauchery to continue to be foreced upon them. We are allowing the 1% anti moral groups to destroy the values and judgements of our youth through adults? Its called the “Tail Wagging the Dog” theory. Unless we stop it in its tracks now, it will and is now destroying the values and moral turpitude of our nations core values. What would your parents, your grandparents and earlier relations have done will tell you what should be done today. If these people want to do this in their own homes that is their rights, but not to be sponsored by or promoted by the corporations and businesses that represent us all. I can only hope the LA Dodges get “Bud-Lit”. Stop these fringe groups from forcing themselves into our lives when we don’t want it.

  4. Bob, I am with you I will never cave to these people leading these anti Christian, and american haters. Everyone needs to say enough and do what their heart dictates to them. We will in.
