Ocasio-Cortez is Upset at Parody Account ‘Going Viral’ and Gaining Speed’ After Being Boosted by Elon Musk

AOC is on the warpath against the parody Twitter account, “AOCpress”. That account specifically targets AOC and her lack of intelligence. AOC is warning her followers as she makes the false claim that “FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility. It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread.” First of all, it is not a fake account and it is clearly marked as a parody account as per Twitter rules.

Secondly, the site is not a fake account. It is clearly defined as a parody account. But if they really want to make AOC look stupid, they don’t have t make stuff up/ They can just publish her actual comments. It is hard for a parody site to top that. My guess is that AOC is very perturbed is because she has a really low favorable rating in her district.

AOC added:

“I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see.”

Alyssa Milano added:

“So by revoking my blue check mark because I wouldn’t pay some arbitrary fee, someone can just be me and say a bunch of bulls***. Does that mean Twitter and @elonmusk are liable for defamation or identity theft or fraud?”

No, you moron. Parody accounts are legal. Maybe that site should add Milano to their site.

From The Blaze

The focus of Ocasio-Cortez’s ire was apparently the “AOCpress” account that is clearly labeled “parody” in accordance with the Twitter terms of service. The parody account has 181k followers while the account for Ocasio-Cortez has more than 13.4 million followers, which diminishes the chance anyone could mistake the parody account for the real account.

The account made light of the congresswoman’s tweet.

“I can’t believe someone would do that to us,” the parody responded.

“After brainstorming with my staff – I’m going to push Congress to make it illegal to joke, laugh, or make fun of me,” the parody tweeted later.

“Parody should be illegal,” the parody account added.

Musk responded to a joke from the parody account on Monday with a “fire emoji” which is what angered Ocasio-Cortez.

And how effectice is she:

From tfiglobalnews

According to a recent report from the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking — a joint initiative of Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was among the least effective members of the previous Congress.

AOC proposed a total of 21 bills, all of which were considered “substantive” by the centre — but that’s where the story ends. According to the centre, which uses data from, the official website for US federal legislative information, her bills saw no committee action, no floor votes and none of them ever became law.

Alan Wiseman, a Vanderbilt political scientist and co-director of the centre said, “She introduced a lot of bills, but she was not successful at having them receive any sort of action in committee or beyond committee and if they can’t get through committee they cannot pass the House.”

When it came to the legislative efficacy of all 240 Democrats in Congress, AOC was ranked 230th out of 240. She came in dead last among the 19 Democratic legislators from New York state.

I see a horse-faced moron with nothing between her ears.

  2. So much of what Congress does is serious. Sandy Cortez provides comic relief. On the downside, we taxpayers pay her a salary as a mighty expensive comedienne!
