Russians Circumvent Sanctions, Produce Seven Times More Ammo Than US and Europe

For months, the mainstream media perpetuated the narrative that, due to sanctions, not only was the Russian economy doomed to fail, but they were also running out of ammunition and military equipment.

This narrative has since been proven false

Every day, reports from the frontlines revealed how the Russian Federation forces were outmaneuvering their Ukrainian counterparts in every aspect, utilizing a strategy of attrition to weaken enemy forces by gradually deteriorating both equipment and personnel.

It has now been made public that, as they strive to counter sanctions, the Russians have a greater output of ammunition than Europe and the United States combined.

The Russian military industrial complex vastly outproduces the West in terms of weapon production, with an estimated ammunition production seven times greater than that of the West.

The New York Times reported:

“Russia has managed to overcome sanctions and export controls imposed by the West to expand its missile production beyond prewar levels, according to U.S., European and Ukrainian officials, leaving Ukraine especially vulnerable to intensified attacks in the coming months.”

While sanctions did impede Russian production of missiles and other weapons for an approximate six month period, Russia circumvented this restriction by re-establishing trade in critical components through countries such as Armenia and Turkey.

Ukrainian military equipment is getting obliterated by Russia’s superior firepower.

“Russia’s re-energized military production is especially worrisome because Moscow has used artillery to pound Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines, and its missiles to attack the electric grid and other critical infrastructure, and to terrorize civilians in cities. Officials fear that increased missile stocks could mean an especially dark and cold winter for Ukrainian citizens.

[…] Today, Russian officials have remade their economy to focus on defense production. With revenue from high energy prices, Russia’s security services and ministry of defense have been able to smuggle in the microelectronics and other Western materials required for cruise missiles and other precision guided weaponry. As a result, military production has not only recovered but surged.”

Western officials estimate that Russia is on track to produce two million artillery shells annually at a cost substantially lower than what Western countries spend.

While an artillery round typically costs $5,000 to $6,000 for a Western country to manufacture, the comparable shell can be produced in Russia for around $600. This marked increase in production demonstrates Moscow’s response to American sanctions.

“’Because the controls were having a real impact, the Russian government didn’t just throw up their hands and say, ‘You got us, we give up’,’ said Matthew S. Axelrod, the Commerce Department’s assistance secretary for export enforcement. ‘They got more and more creative with their evasion attempts. And we have been really aggressively working a number of different ways to clamp down’.”

  1. Like that’s a hard job making Biden look like a idoit. Even his vp makes him look stupid . And she’s a brain dead idoit with no clue. Her only qualifications were, she said she was black for votes from black voters. And she lied about that.

  2. Biden doesn’t need any help to look stupid. He does that on a daily basis and the Demonrat party should be in jail for cheating to get him elected because this has been known for many decades by adults.
