On Sunday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy declared that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Briggs is “abusing his office” to go after former President Donald Trump, meanwhile Bragg and his fellow Democrats are allowing crime to run rampant.
“Alvin Bragg is abusing his office to target President Trump while he’s reduced a majority of felonies, including violent crimes, to misdemeanors. He has different rules for political opponents,” McCarthy tweeted.
“Republicans stopped the radical DC crime law, and we will investigate any use of federal funds that are used to facilitate the perversion of justice by Soros-backed DA’s across the country,” McCarthy added in reference to Congress passing a disapproval resolution that killed the soft-on-crime criminal code revision legislation in Washington, DC.
McCarthy’s tweets came after Trump’s Saturday post on Truth Social, in which he predicted that he will be arrested this week due to “illegal leaks” from Bragg’s office.
He wrote, “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

Later, a Trump’s spokesperson clarified that there’s been “no notification, other than illegal leaks from the Justice Dept. and the DA’s office, to NBC and other fake news carriers, that the George Soros-funded Radical Left Democrat prosecutor in Manhattan has decided to take his Witch-Hunt to the next level.”
The spokesperson added, “President Trump is rightfully highlighting his innocence and the weaponization of our injustice system. He will be in Texas next weekend for a giant rally. Make America Great Again!”
After his initial statement, McCarthy later called for “relevant committees to immediately investigate” if Bragg is using federal funds to “subvert our democracy by interfering in elections” by going after Trump, who is running for president again in 2024.
“An outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump,” McCarthy tweeted on Saturday.

There’s something much larger than this alleged trump-up charge against Trump that Christians and patriots should be furious over – that is, who should be America’s civil leaders vs. who are the Constitutional Republic’s civil rulers.
Have you ever wondered HOW America has ended up with the caliber of civil “leaders” she has today?
Could it have something to do with Article 6’s Christian test ban by which mandatory biblical qualifications were likewise eliminated? Once adopted, it was inevitable that America would be ruled by nothing but nincompoops, scoundrels, incompetents, immoral reprobates, and outright criminals. Sound familiar?
Take nincompoops, for example. Exodus 18:21’s qualifications begin with the fear of Yahweh. Kings David and Solomon point out the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Thus, without the fear of Yahweh, you end up with, at best, nincompoops as your alleged leaders.
The best you can ever get from the Constitutional Republic’s unbiblical election system is the lessers of two evils. Sometimes, the worst of the worst. And always, the evil of two lessers.
