In California, a state that never had slavery, a panel has decided that every African American in the state should receive $1.2 million dollars. That would cost the state about $800 billion dollars or nearly three years of the state budget. In order to pay off such a large amount Gov Newsom may have to sell the state to China and use that money, minus 10% for the Big Guy, to pay reparations. China then could use their newest purchase for their headquarters to help them control the Democratic party they bought out years ago.

California became the first state to form a reparations task force in September 2020 following national protests over the death of George Floyd who was killed by a white Minneapolis Police officer.
One point two million seems very generous, assuming the Democrats will pass it through the state legislature. I think you can forget about that happening. When did you ever see Democrats willingly give up the power that comes with the control of taxpayer dollars? Raising taxes won’t get you there because more companies and individuals will just pack up and move to Florida and Texas.

Returning to the reparations debate, given that the Black Lives Matter policy position, as illuminated in the video below, is that looting retail stores is an ad hoc form of reparations for slavery, it’s unclear whether California deducted all of the financial losses incurred during the 2020 post-Floyd Summer of Love in its calculations.

How do they know, which great great great grandparents were Slaves, what were their names, what part of America did they settled in, do they have pictures of the last slaves, from their grandparents here? What city and state did they live in. Do they really know their backgrounds. Had they ever thought, that maybe their grandparents had their own Black slaves? They don’t deserve a penny for over hundreds of years ago. Are the Blacks today, going to save their backgrounds for their grandkids to look back a hundred years and history of the dangerous lives, that have caused? No, reparations for todays Black people.

Nice observation. Perhaps these same people who are demanding payments should start thinking about paying off the Union 642,427 soldiers who died to free the blacks. I think an amount of $200 million per soldier killed from those black descendants would seem appropriate. A total of 400,000,000 slaves were freed after the Civil War so when the blacks pay off the descendants of those civil war dead for giving up their lives to free them, the total will be far in excess of the $200 Billion owed for the deaths of these fine white men. Then the payment can be made out of that fund to the blacks who are demanding payment of reparations.
How about the tribs that captured and sold the other African tribes in to salvery, pay the money.

These people are insane. There have been 6 generations since the Emancipation Proclamation. If we start with a single black slave and each generation has 3 children, we get 2187 descendants from a single slave. If we say there were 100K slaves (which is more than there were) that would result in 211,800,000 black descendants from slaves. NOT ALL black people in the USA have a link to slavery. Now allow a reparation to each slave descendent of “$1,200,000. Divide that by 2187 and you get a pay out to each black today of $54869.68, pre US IRS taxes. Now add the Windfall “required taxes” of $40% and you get a pay out of $3292.18, prior to California State income tax. California Income Tax is 12.3% so reduce the $5292.18 to $28,872.00. Of course any person convicted of a crime and in jail, who cannot prove beyond a doubt that they are a descendent of a slave, or their roots in the USA came after the 1860’s could not claim anything. What ever a single slave is awarded, it must be reduced for his food, housing, medical, education, and miscellaneous deductions which would basically place him in the Share Croppers category. So an award of $1.2 million per person today is completely insane. Now deduct all aid given, in the form of ADC, Welfare, etc from Lyndon Johnson’s The Great Society that each family has received from the $28,872.00 and you may find that each descendent is probably already in the red and would actually owe money to the State or IRS. Sometimes its best to leave things alone and not listen to completely insane and inflaming rhetoric from total racist sources.

Let’s take a different view of the entire slavery issue.
There are approximately 40 million Americans of African descent alive today. Where would they be (would they even EXIST) if their ancestors had not been transported to the colonies and later the U.S.A. ???
If you review the history of Africa from the 15th century and later (the earliest written history by missionaries) you will find that tribal warfare was on-going resulting in cannabalism. Pregnancy was almost a death warrant from child birth complications. Infant survival rate was 50% or lower ! Don’t forget famines and plagues.
In short, slavery was the salvation of much of the black population today.
The 40 acres isn’t going to happen, but it’s apparent the “activists” have at least one mule.

As I stated before, if these morons want to go down this path, then I would demand that ALL CAUCASIANS be given reparations from blacks from their home country of Northern Africa, namely Egypt! The Egyptians held the light skinned races, thus including Jews and such in slavery well over the time period America had held as slaves. And as many thousand of years have past, thus equivocal in money and time as the on African male in San Fransisco pointed out. Then that would mean each of us light skinned people should the get roughly 100,000 time or greater that what these African ‘Grifters’ are asking for in California!
