Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has organized the transport of food and supplies, including bulletproof vests, to Israeli Defense Forces soldiers via his private jet, Air Mayweather.
Famous for displaying his wealth in the public sphere, this plane bears his official TMT logo – representing ‘The Money Team’ – which has been widely documented on social media.
Los Angeles magazine is reporting that this charitable mission will be taking place soon.
“I stand with Israel against the Hamas terrorists. Hamas do not represent the people of Palestine but are a terrorist group that are attacking innocent lives!” Mayweather wrote on Instagram, along with pictures of a 2022 trip to Israel.
“I stand for all humans and wish for the safe return of all Americans and Israelis and any human that were kidnapped as hostages during these horrific war crimes. This is not a time for politics. This is a time for safety first and foremost. God Bless America. God Bless Israel. God Bless Human Kind!”
A Mayweather representative told Los Angeles magazine that the private jet was already being loaded and is expected to arrive in Israel on the weekend of October 14-15, 2023.
The supplies are to be handed out personally by Mayweather’s pilots.
“I stand with Israel and Jews all around the world. I condemn antisemitism at all cost,” Mayweather subsequently posted. “I stand for Peace. I stand for Human Rights! Terrorism Is Never The Answer!”
In August 2023, reports emerged that Floyd Mayweather had generously provided financial assistance to 68 local families affected by the Maui wildfires.
TMZ Sports noted that he had arranged for hotel accommodation for several weeks, as well as providing food from local restaurants and clothing from H&M.
This is the second time in just a couple of months that Mayweather has opened his wallet to help those in need.
