On Thursday, former ABC’s The View co-host Meghan McCain shredded her ex-colleague Joy Behar for comments that she made about East Palestine residents voting for former President Donald Trump, implying that ‘they got what was coming.’
While discussing Trump’s Wednesday visit to East Palestine – in which he delivered truckloads of water and supplies to residents suffering from a train derailment earlier this month that released toxic chemicals into the environment – Behar likened the ecological disaster to local voting habits.
“I don’t know why they would ever vote for him, for somebody who, by the way, he placed someone with deep ties to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA’s chemical safety office,” she declared.
“That’s who you voted for in that district, Donald Trump, who reduces all safety,” Behar added, as she pointed at the camera.
So, according to Behar, if you vote for Trump then you are supporting the pollution of our water, soil, and air.

“The people of east Palestine are currently in fear that they and their children will be getting cancer or worse from the derailment toxins in their land and water. This is just an evil thing to say. I would say I can’t fathom this level of cruelty and elitism but sadly… I can,” McCain clapped back to Behar on Twitter.

She followed up, “I can’t express how disappointed and repulsed I am that more politicians – especially our President and Pete Buttigieg haven’t gone to visit and bring attention to the ecological disaster in Palestine, Ohio. Why? I don’t understand? Because they’re low income Trump voters?”

Behar is not the first to try and pin this disaster on Trump or his supporters. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been loudly blaming the former president, citing a proposed rule on ECP brakes that was withdrawn in 2018, under the Trump administration.
Anything to take heat off the Biden adminstration, eh?
While visiting East Palestine on Wednesday, Trump likened the United States to a “third-world nation” with Buttigieg as transportation secretary.
“We’re like a third-world nation, and this is an example of it, the breakdown. Our whole country is breaking down,” Trump he declared after buying lunch for the police department, fire department, and residents at a local McDonald’s.
The former president asserted that Buttigieg “should have been here a long time ago,” and then called on him to “look at the airports, because I have people that are taking planes, and they’re delayed. They’re waiting in an airport for three days. It’s crazy what’s happening.”
Buttigieg did not visit the Ohio town until the day after Trump, which was three weeks post disaster striking.

So send this person to sensitivity training, and continue rewarding this person with a paycheck while in sensitivity training? Oh please, how stupid and meaningless! This will not stop until people actually start suing the bosses of Whoopie and Joy Behar. These are dangerous people.

Never watch the View or Few but it sounds like from what they try to do is a program without context.
